Before and After School Care – 5 Star Club

The 5 Star Club is proud to have been the trusted provider of wraparound care for families at Bishop Ellis Catholic Primary School for over 20 years.

We offer onsite care before school from 7:30am, including a healthy breakfast and a calm, engaging start to the day.

After school care runs onsite until 5:45pm, with a substantial, healthy snack (‘tea’) and a warm, welcoming environment where children can unwind, play, and explore new interests.

Our sessions feature a vibrant mix of activities designed to keep children active, curious and creative — from multi-sports and team games to arts and crafts, cooking, STEM challenges, construction, mindfulness, and more. There’s something for everyone, every day.

In addition to wraparound care, the 5 Star Club also organises the full programme of after school enrichment clubs, bringing exciting opportunities and specialist-led sessions to all children at the school.
Details of the activities on offer are shared with parents each half term, so families can see what’s available and choose what suits their child’s interests.

Holiday care is also available during school breaks at our dedicated site on Church Hill Road, Thurmaston, operating from 7:30am to 6:00pm, with a packed timetable of themed activities and experiences.
