LO: Can I write a list?

Y2: Can I write a list using commas?

Show the children a picture – TTYP what can you see? Ping Pong. Teacher to listen in.

Explain that we are going to learn about writing lists.

Model writing a list of things that can be seen on the picture, including bullet points and starting a new line for each new item. .

-bullet point

-new line for each new item

-spelling using sounds

-neat handwriting

Year 2 - move on to writing lists using commas. For example:

On the farm there is a dog, a cat and a pig.
