Activity: 

Y1: label a picture of Toby with what he looks like. E.g. blue jumper, messy hair, brown shoes

 

Y2: think about appearance and personality aswell. E.g.: helpful

Turn your notes and labels into some sentences and form a character description about Toby.

Activity 1 - LO: How can I write a morning prayer?

Task: Draw a picture of the perfect prayer area. Can you write about the prayer focus, why it is there and how it is used.  Describe what happens at the prayer times at the beginning of each day.

Write a prayer that you could say at the beginning of each new day.

Psalm 19 1-5

We praise you God. 

Each day the sun rises high in the sky to give us light and warmth. 

Words are not needed to tell us how wonderful you are:

the silent message reaches everyone, everywhere. 
We are full of joy as each new day begins.
