English - Recount Writing
Lesson 1- Read through the instruction text and identify the 'bossy' verbs (fold, put etc) and time connectives (First, Then etc). If you haven't got the correct equipment handy at home, you could just mime the actions given in the instructions.
Lesson 2- Identify the features of a diary (Recount)
Read through the diary example and highlight or underline the following features:
*Date
*Greeting
*Time connectives
* Evidence of text in time order( chronological order)
* Paragraphs

Lesson 3 - Orally Learn a Text
Read through the text and orally learn the first two paragraphs by heart. Try using the method of 'stepping' the text and adding actions or draw pictures that will help you remember the words.
