If you have been working on your long division and finding it a little tricky, please take a look at this video where a teacher talks you through the method. He starts by talking about short division and then does a simple long division (87 divided by 7). The key thing to remember is you're using the table facts you know and taking these away from the total amount you are dividing, then seeing how many 'lots' of the number you have used in total at the end. It can be really helpful to write down the multiples of the number you are dividing by at the side to help you with knowing how many lots of that number can be found in the number you are dividing.
There is also a long division poster in the learning support resources area of our page.
