RE

This week is our other faiths week for this half term, Judaism.

Task 1:

Design a Rosh Hashanah card for a Jewish friend and include in it a blessing for the New Year.

Eg. “May your new year be good and sweet and filled with happiness!”

The front of your card should include Jewish religious symbols, such as the Star of David, the Menorah (seven branched candle), the Shofar, Torah (scroll) etc.

Task 2:

Find out about the festival of Sukkot, sometimes called the Festival of Shelters.

What does this festival mean to Jewish people and why do they celebrate?

* Love God * Aspire to be the Best * Be Honest * Forgive * Care *
