Writing focus
Setting description of the Mad Hatter’s tea party.
Re-read the beginning of Chapter 7 and write down any descriptive vocabulary or phrases used by the author to describe the scene.
Try to remember your drawing of the tea party. Today you are going to write a description of it.
Success criteria
• Accurate punctuation
• : and ; used accurately
• Parenthesis- a pair of dashes or a pair of commas
• Noun phrases
• Fronted adverbials
• Write in the style of Lewis Caroll
• Include some of this week’s spelling words

Create your own alarm electrical circuit and neatly draw a diagram in your book using the correct scientific symbols.

Watch the video clips of the ordination of a priest. Can you describe what is happening and make links to scripture, hymns and prayers? Can you make any links with the other sacraments?
