We understand that the text for Wind in the Willows is quite a challenging text. Please find below a copy of the text, a link to a video of the story and a link to an audio reading of each of the chapters. Feel free to use a mixture of these resources to explore the text.
Lesson 1 - For this lesson we are looking at the features of a playscript.
Lesson 2 - For this lesson we are looking at how to write a playscript. Click on the link below to find a video explaining the lesson.
Lesson 3 - The debate. In this lesson we are going to be debating the fairness of the sentences given to Toad. Watch the video below to find today's tasks. 
Lesson 4 - Independent write. In this lesson we are going to have a go at writing our own play script for the courtroom scene. Watch the video below to see what your task is.


This week will continue our unit on measures and look at perimeter.



This week we are going to continue to look at the different roles in the parish community. 


We are going to be looking at classifying vertebrates and creating a classification key. Work your way through the PowerPoint, which explains the different ways that we can classify mammals.


Then using the photo sorting cards, have a go at creating your own classification key.


This week we are continuing our unit on aiming high. Look through the powerpoint and have a go at the activities.

Reading Challenge

In addition to reading a little every day we would like you to continue to practice the reading skills we have been discussing in school. Therefore each week we will be setting you a reading challenge. This involves reading a short text and answering the questions. The questions will focus on a particular reading skill each week. 

NB: The answers are also part of the document this is so you can check to see if you were right after you have had a go by yourself.
