Phonics

Phonics Phonics Play. Choose a game to play and select phase 5 sounds to practise.

Lesson 1-Adding 1-digit and 2-digit numbers up to 20.

Expectation: circle the starting number, jump on the other number.

If biggest number not first in calculation, can still use that as starting.

Lesson 2 - Subtracting 1-digit and 2-digit numbers up to 20.

Expectation: circle the starting number, jump back the other number.

lesson 1 -Addition of two 2-digit numbers

Expectations: clear jottings underneath each number.

Draw tens and ones and then count up tens first and ones.

Lesson 2 -Subtracting Two 2-digit numbers

Expectation: recap subtraction without exchanging

Move onto exchanging- draw the first number; take away the ones first then the tens.
