Task 1:

Choose an event that occurred during World War 2:

• The Battle of Britain
• The German Invasion of Russia
• The bombing of Pearl Harbour
• The Dambusters Raid
• The Normandy Landings.

Research one of the key events using the World War II Turning Point Investigation Activity Sheet (see below). There is also a powerpoint that goes over the key events that you can use to help you – see below.

 

Some websites and videos you may wish to use to research your key event of WW2.

Task 2:

 Make a presentation about your event. You can do this on powerpoint, as a poster, or you could even record yourself talking about your findings! If you choose to do this, you may want to create a script to help you keep on track.
