Wearing slippers improves learning!
As part of our Lenten fundraising, the KS1 classes will be wearing slippers for the whole week culminating with a pyjama day on Friday 24th March. The children have sponsor forms and hope to beat last year's total.
Although wearing slippers is a bit of fun in the run up to Comic Relief, there is some research which suggests that they may have a positive impact on children's learning. Although it will be a challenge to assess how it has impacted on the children's learning in KS1, we will be asking teachers, children and parents for their thoughts after the week is over.
