Mr Jackson took 2 teams of tennis players to Cedars Academy on Tuesday to compete in the tennis tournament. The weather was not playing ball, so we had to move indoors. This meant less tennis than we otherwise would have played, but we had a great time nonetheless.

 

The year3/4 team played well and grew into the competition, getting better the more they played. Everybody was smiling and enjoying the event, even if the results didn't quite go our way.

 

The year 5/6 started well and continued right to the end, in a very close encounter. We just managed to win the event that went right down to the final match. So, well done team, you are now S Charnwood champions! Not a bad way to help Mr J celebrate his birthday!!
