Charnwood College was the venue for the Open cross country, where 350 runners took part. A great turn out. BE was able to have runners on the start line for every event, both boys and girls, which was great to see. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves, in what was a great exhibition of running. Our only top ten result was by William Tamen, so many congratulations to him.

 

I think we need to work on pacing before the next event, as several of our runners went flat out for the first fifty metres, forgetting it was not a sprint. Think more Mo and less Usain!
