A friendly match was played between BE and Eastfield B teams last night. A close match ended up in a narrow loss to Bishop Ellis. A system of rolling subs made sure every player got a long stint of playing without too long on the sidelines, which was just as well, as it was a really cold. Stout defending, especially from Edwin and Michael Mc. and great wing play from Michael B, made for a skilled game. Only quality goal keeping from their keeper kept us from the win. Better luck next time boys. What pleased Mr Haresign and Mr Jackson was the competitive but fair nature of the players, who played with enthusiasm right to the final whistle.
