Bishop Ellis enjoys many sporting successes throughout the year with a range of teams covering many sports at many levels. We are so proud of the time and effort that our staff, parents and children put in and over the last few weeks, the results have gone from strength to strength. Thank you!

 

Quad Athletics

Our key stage 2 children attended the county final Quad athletics held at Uppingham School. Our Upper Key Stage 2 team managed to finish 3rd overall and our Lower Key Stage 2 children won the spirit award for years 3/4. Each child competed in 4 events - 75m sprint, standing long jump, 400m (years 3/4) 600m (5/6) and the whistler throw.  

 

Girls Football

 Our years 4/5/6 players have been competing against local year 6 teams over the past few months. They have played 12 games hosted at Wreake Valley, ended up on 28 points and won the league. Well done!

 

Cricket

Not to be outdone, our cricket team has also had some great news. They have played 4 and won 4 against local school teams, won the league and are now representing South Charnwood in the Summer Championships.
