Please find below the Foundation Stage Homework grids. Please choose and date one activity each week. We look forward to seeing your work!

Homework is a really important part of your child's learning experience which supports and reinforces the learning we have done in class. Homework in Foundation Stage will be sent home at the beginning of each term and children are expected to complete one activity per week. They will share their homework with their friends once a week and the teacher will monitor this. Reading is also an integral part of learning in Foundation Stage and Year 1 and we expect that children will read 2 books to an adult at home each week for around 5 minutes each day. We ask that parents write a short note to let us know how they get on. Book changing days will be Tuesday and Friday and books/diaries will need to be left in the children's tray in the morning and will be returned at the end of the day. Phonics sound learning, High Frequency Words (HFW) and short spelling quizzes are a part of the weekly home learning for children in FS and will require adult support. Finally, number recognition and beginning to learn number bonds would really support your child's learning in maths at school.
