In the Spelling, Grammar and Punctuation section of the SATS, scores are combined to give an overall score. This means that the spelling element of the test is very important. Often, many of the 20 words come directly from the Year 5/6 statutory word list which can be found below. The other spellings which match the spelling rules which are carried out each week in our investigations.
