Extra Learning Resources

The extra learning resources below are provided in case you would like to have a go at any additional learning activities. They are not compulsory - you don't have to use them.

Accelerated Reader

If you have a sign in for accelerated reader you will need to access our school portal using the link below where you can then enter your login details (the username and password you have been given).

The Oak National Academy

The Oak National Academy have created their own online classroom with a range of learning activities to complete each day. The daily activities cover English, Maths and one Foundation Subject, such as History. Lessons include a quiz, a video explanation from the teacher and a worksheet.

This is not compulsory, it is an optional extra. If you want to have a go at any of these activities, please follow the link below and select your year group. You could complete the activities in your home learning book.

Audio Books

We've found this fabulous selection of audio books completely free! Sit in the garden and listen to a wonderful book.

They've even got Harry Potter!


Does your child struggle with spelling and reading?

Are they finding it tricky to follow the work set?

Nessy programs are designed to help students of all abilities learn to read, write, spell and type, especially those who learn differently, including:

  • Children who speak English as an additional language
  • Students with  memory difficulties
  • Students with dyslexia
  • Students who find it hard to read and spell

Schools normally have to subscribe to Nessy and pay for users to be able access their resources. However, they are offering free access for the next few months. If you want to find out more please follow the link below.
