Geography
This week, we are going to be launching our topic on Kenya, linked to our story book, Lila and the Secret of Rain, which is set in Kenya.
Do something fun linked to Kenya, this might be:
-colouring in the Kenyan flag the correct colours.
-making an animal mask of an animal that lives on the savannah
-looking at a map of the world and finding out where Africa is & then looking at the map of Africa to help find where Kenya is & what other countries are in Africa.
-Looking at a picture of the Savannah and finding out what lives there.
-learning about African drumming and dancing using the link below.
-researching some of the fruits that are grown in Kenya, that we might eat here.
