Model introduction:
The Islamic civilization (AD900) is widely known as the Golden Age. This is because progress in society, learning and discovery moved forward so quickly that it is considered as a Golden Age.
The Islamic civilization was known as the Golden Age because of the progress people made in learning and discovery. Great doctors like Razi and Al-Zahrawi moved thinking in medicine forward a long time before other great thinkers of the time.
Task:
Write an essay answering the big question above. Children could choose 3 aspects to write about or they could do all five but they must say why they contributed to it being called the Golden Age.
